Hopefully you've been keeping track of the daily Black Friday Deals Week posts I've been featuring each morning, if not here is today's, but of course there are also new releases to consider and today we have a few that may be of interest.
All of these were previously available on Blu-ray before this collection was put together, but it does include a couple of newly produced special features of its own which include:
- Critics Corner: The Films of Quentin Tarantino – In-depth critics' discussion piece exploring Tarantino's films that redefined cinema and the impact of one of the most influential writers/directors of our time.
- 20 Years of Filmmaking – Take a look at Tarantino's career from the beginning, with interviews from co-workers, critics, stars and master filmmakers alike as well as a tribute to his greatest collaborator, Sally Menke.

The features include a restored transfer and remastered soundtrack along with an illustrated audio interview with director Michael Cimino and producer Joann Carelli and new interviews with actor Kris Kristofferson, soundtrack arranger and performer David Mansfield and second assistant director Michael Stevenson.
Quite honestly I wish the package included more... Oh well.

Heaven's Gate shipped out yesterday... Should get it soon hopefully, I'm really excited to see it for the first time. The lack of special features is due to Cimino's involvement, who clearly doesn't want any of the unfortunate circumstances that surrounded the film to be apparent. There was even a documentary on the "Johnson County War" that was planned for the release, yet he asked for it to be removed.
Can you please write an article about your thoughts of The Expendables 2 once you have some time! I had a blast with it, it's a extremely fun movie to watch!
