'Exorcist' to 'Begin' Again?
Will the Paul Schrader version of Exorcist: The Beginning come to theaters?
With the recent announcement of the Exorcist: The Beginning DVD it was a shock to many that the Paul Schrader version of the film that was nixed from the lineup as it was expected that the Schrader version would be included in the release.
Warner Bros. was apparently not satisfied with the Schrader version and brought on Renny Harlin to completely redo the film, which is the version you saw in theaters in August.
Now Moviehole.net is reporting that the story just may be a little bigger than expected.
"Paul is currently in post-production on the movie, as we're anticipating a limited theatrical release here in the United States sometime in 2005", Morgan Creek told Moviehole this morning.
So, will this version, which is said to be much less gruesome than the one that hit theaters, make it to the movie houses? I guess we will have to wait and see.
