Rian Johnson's next is getting a lot of attention
Summit Entertainment is poising Rian Johnson's follow up to Brick for an Oscar run and considering it stars two Academy Award winners in Rachel Weisz and Adrien Brody, Academy Award nominee Rinko Kikuchi as well as Mark Ruffalo I can't say I am surprised.

Brothers Bloom was recently bumped from its October 24 release date and moved to a limited release on December 19 before going wide in January '09. This is an obvious award season move and I expect to hear good things out of TIFF in the coming weeks. Now, for the pics…

This is actually the first I've heard about this film, but after reading the synopsis I am more than a little intrigued. Brody always seems to do a good (if not terrific) job no matter what he is in.
