Eminem 'Will Travel' to Paramount
New feature for rapper turned actor
Eminem is moving from 8 Mile to become a bounty hunter in the feature adaptation of the CBS series "Have Gun — Will Travel" for Paramount Pictures.
The television series debuted way back in September 1957 as a TV western starring Richard Boone, a gunfighter-for-hire. The feature adaptation finds Eminem as a bounty hunter, with the possibility of the film being set in Em's hometown of Detroit.
The project is in the early stages of development and the studio has extended an 18-month option on the property to develop it as a vehicle for the rapper, but the producers and Paramount are looking to get it on the fast track.
