Ellie Sattler Back for 'Jurassic Park 4'?
News from Laura Dern sheds new light on possible fourth film
I can only assume that with upcoming releases of Die Hard 4 and Indiana Jones 4 that Universal Pictures wants in the game of fourth films in franchises and Jurassic Park IV is the next logical step. During an interview with Laura Dern, who played Ellie Satler in the first three films, she says that the film is indeed moving forward, possibly for a 2007 start and a 2008 release.
Collider got the word during the Year of the Dog press junket in which Dern said, "I’m told its happening and I’m told they’re calling me. I’m told that Ellie Sattler is involved in it."
She was relaying news after an apparent phone call from Steven Spielberg, Dern said, "Well a certain fellow is the one that called me and it’s hard to say no to him cause he’s always got something totally genius up his sleeve so we’ll see what they have in mind. But I don’t know anything about it at this point."
News of the possible fourth film has been around forever and at last word Joe Johnston was aboard to direct.
