Eckhart Makes a Dent In 'Batman 2'
Hey look, rumors do come true...
Well the rumor mill on The Dark Knight has not been given long to churn as The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Aaron Eckhart will indeed be playing Harvey Dent/Two Face in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel.
Okay, he is in final negotiations, but basically it means he is in. The THR article goes on to say that Dent is the district attorney of Gotham City and an ally of Batman. After half his face is disfigured by acid, Dent becomes the insane crime boss known as Two Face. He chooses to do good or evil by flipping a coin.
For a poor representation think back to Tommy Lee Jones and his stupid ass performance of the same character in Batman Forever.
The news also brings confirmation that both Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman will be returning to the cast as well to reprise their roles as Lucius Fox and Jim Gordon respectively.
Other rumors posted earlier today say that Maggie Gyllenhaal has replaced Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes.

Awesome news. I like Nick Naylor, errr, Aaron Echkart. Hopefully he doesn't look to the aweful performance by Tommy Lee Jones. He should look at what The Animated Series had for Two Face.
The recent "Batman Begin's" was delivered with style and grace. I'm really not looking forward to paying to see this film. Why? It might be the 'Curse Of The Sequel". Yanno, the one that happened with Saturday Night Fever, Speed and then the awful Speed; Cruise Control.
Aaron. Back out now. Heath Get In Here!
