The Bourne Identity (2002): Ludlum's 1980 novel "The Bourne Identity" is the first in the famed writer's trio of international thrillers featuring master spy Jason Bourne. In this story, an amnesiac (Damon) is rescued, near death, from the ocean by the crew of an Italian fishing boat, and finds himself being pursued by hired killers. He is completely without identity or background...but does possess a range of extraordinary talents in fighting, linguistics and self-defense that speak of a dangerous past. He sets out on a desperate search -- assisted by the initially rebellious Marie (Potente) -- to discover who he really is, and why just about everyone he encounters wants him dead.

The Bourne Supremacy (2004): Following the smash worldwide success of 2002's The Bourne Identity, Universal Pictures brings the second installment of best-selling author Robert Ludlum's series to the screen with Matt Damon returning as trained assassin Jason Bourne in The Bourne Supremacy.

The Bourne Supremacy re-enters the shadowy world of expert assassin Bourne (Damon), who continues to find himself plagued by splintered nightmares from his former life. The stakes are now even higher for the agent as he coolly maneuvers through the dangerous waters of international espionage-replete with CIA plots, turncoat agents and ever-shifting covert alliances-all the while hoping to find the truth behind his haunted memories and answers to his own fragmented past.

Compelling use of exotic worldwide locations and the muscular cinematic edge brought by vanguard director Paul Greengrass (writer/director of Bloody Sunday) maintain the aggressive style and fresh, non-traditional perspective established in The Bourne Identity. The Bourne Supremacy is the latest entry in a refreshingly new breed of that time-honored genre, the espionage thriller.

The Bourne Ultimatum (2007): Matt Damon returns as the trained assassin Jason Bourne for the latest showdown in The Bourne Ultimatum. In the follow-up to 2002's The Bourne Identity and 2004's The Bourne Supremacy--the smash hits that have earned over $500 million at the global box office--acclaimed director Paul Greengrass (United 93, The Bourne Supremacy) joins returning cast members Julia Stiles and Joan Allen and new additions David Strathairn, Paddy Considine and Edgar Ramirez.

All he wanted was to disappear. Instead, Jason Bourne is now hunted by the people who made him what he is. Having lost his memory and the one person he loved, he is undeterred by the barrage of bullets and a new generation of highly-trained killers. Bourne has only one objective: to go back to the beginning and find out who he was.

Now, in the new chapter of this espionage series, Bourne will hunt down his past in order to find a future. He must travel from Moscow, Paris, Madrid and London to Tangier and New York City as he continues his quest to find the real Jason Bourne--all the while trying to outmaneuver the scores of cops, federal officers and Interpol agents with him in their crosshairs.

The Bourne Ultimatum will be shot in Morocco, Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the United States.
