Obviously with TV DVDs you have to be a bit more picky than you are with your movie selections, most often they are going to run you at least double the price of a regular DVD, and sometimes triple and quadruple the price (damned "CSI"), but with "Home Improvement", much like Buena Vista's "Scrubs", the season sets are a bit more affordable, running around $27.99 at Amazon.com.
As with all seasons of "Home Improvement", this one is no different as the boys continue to grow up and start showing interest in girls, Jill is trying to teach Tim how to be a loving and caring husband and Tim is still screwing everything up and seeking advice from his neighbor Mr. Wilson.
I have a hard time believing there are those of you out there that have not seen this show, but if you need more convincing as to its value, just know that season three of "Home Improvement" garnered two Golden Globe nominations, one for Best TV Series (Comedy/Musical) and one for Tim Allen as Best Performance by an Actor in a Comedy/Musical. Can't argue with those two accolades.
"Home Improvement" is a great show for all ages, and on DVD it's just as much fun as it was when it first aired. While this DVD set only has one special feature, a feature not even worth mentioning, this DVD is well worth the cash for those of you that enjoy the "Tool Man" as much as I do.
