Friends - The Series Finale (Limited Edition) is a Warner Home Video release and is rated .
"Friends" is over and I must say it couldn't have come at a better time as they may have outstayed their welcome a season or two too long, but with the Finale I do believe that they managed to pull it all together very well, as final episodes are such a risky venture with audiences expecting so much.

Just as well in an effort to make the most of the final episode Warner Bros. Home Video has released the final episode just days after the original hit the airwaves.

While there aren't any special features to write home about this is a definite must own for you über-"Friends" fans even though this episode is likely to be made available on the Season 10 DVD series, which can't be too far of in the future as Season 8 is sure to be just around the corner.

This "Limited Edition" includes the broadcast version of the series finale along with an extended version, which includes an additional three minutes of footage not seen on television. Both are worthy options to watch, but why watch the normal one when it is only an extra three minutes, you can't be in that much of a rush.

Also included is the series pilot from 1994, a feature of all the main-title sequences from each season and the music video by The Rembrandts, "I'll be there for you". The pilot is a cool addition just to see where the series started compared to where it ended not to mention it is another episode you get to watch. You also get an almost side-by-side comparison of the "Friends" and you can try and see which Friend has managed to become the tannest.

As for the other two features they are just a huge nuisance as I wish they wouldn't even include the main-title sequence with each episode on the season sets, and to have to listen to that Rembrandts song is enough before each episode, why encourage us to watch the video?

As far as special features go you do not want to watch these but for the episode and the pilot this is well worth the money, considering it is only $10 everywhere I have seen it on sale.
