The Flintstones - The Complete Third Season (DVD)

I honestly could not remember the last time I had seen an episode of "The Flintstones," but revisiting the 1960 cartoon again in this Third Season DVD set was more fun than I ever anticipated.

Starting off my viewing I was a bit confused as the all-familiar "Meet the Flintstones" opening was not there, but it quickly made its introduction as does the young Pebbles whose birth is undoubtedly the highlight of the third season.

In this third season set you get 28 episodes of the acclaimed cartoon as well as a "First Families of the Stone Age" feature, which takes a look at the Bedrock wives and a look at a "Flintstones" geek as he proudly shows of his gathering of "Flintstones" collectibles.

Overall, this is a set that animation fanatics are sure to jump on, but while the "Flintstones" may be a cartoon about the Stone Age the show very much fell in line with the current events of the time, which will bring back bits of nostalgia to fans around the nation as The Twitch parodies the popular dance raze The Twist and Dial "S" for Suspicion provides an entertaining adaptation of Hitchcock's Dial M for Murder.
