Dimension Nabs 'Dead or Alive'
Vid adaptation finds a home.
If there was ever reason to watch a movie the videogame to film adaptation DOA: Dead or Alive has found it and it goes as follows: Devon Aoki, Sarah Carter, Natassia Malthe, Jaime Pressly and Holly Valance.
That's right, the film based on Tecmo's bestselling game franchise the film centers around four female fighters in a competition to the death on an exotic island stars those six ladies along with two lucky fellas in Matthew Marsden and Eric Roberts.
The news here is that the Corey Yuen helmed feature has been acquired by Dimension Films with a release date planned for Fall 2006.
