'Desperate' for a Clip? Here it is…
'Desperate' for ratings ABC finds skin and sin.
In our slowly growing reach out to television RopeofSilicon.com has been sent another clip from one of ABC's newly top-rated shows "Desperate Housewives," which stars Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria.
Just in time for November sweeps comes a clip from the episode airing this Sunday at 9/8 Central. If you are curious just how well received the primetime soap actually is just check the numbers as ABC just may have found a way to satisfy viewers, after all sex sells and "Desperate Housewives" sells the skin and sin of suburbia.
On each of its broadcasts, "Desperate Housewives" has been the No. 1 TV program on Sunday night in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 as well as become the No. 1 new TV series of the new season in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49.
Thanks to "Desperate Housewives," the once thought downtrodden Alphabet Net is now bringing in 124% more Total Viewers and 131% more Adults 18-49 to the time period, compared to the same point a year ago.
