Deschanel is a 'Failure'
Zooey joins Parker and McConaughey.
Zooey Deschanel has joined the cast of Failure to Launch for Paramount Pictures, placing her alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew McConaughey with Tom Dey set to direct the script written by Tom J. Astle and Matt Ember.
The comedy will be distributed by Paramount Pictures as it follows a thirtysomething guy whose parents are desperate to get him to move out. When he finally meets the girl of his dreams, he grows suspicious that his conniving parents might have had a hand in the matter.
Deschanel will next be seen in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
