Del Toro Heads to 'Carnival Row'
Futuristic thriller snatches up Guillermo.
This picture probably won't see the screen for quite some time if this story comes to fruition considering Guillermo Del Toro is just now finishing up his dark fairy tale Pan's Labyrinth for Picturehouse, he is also expected to bring us Hellboy 2 and he has also been rumored to be involved with the feature adaptation of Halo (even though that is only rumor).
So what is this story about? Well, looks like Del Toro is in line to work on yet another cool little flick as he is in final talks with New Line to helm the futuristic fantasy-thriller Killing on Carnival Row. The script was written by Travis Beachman and it is set in a Victorian city inhabited by humans, faeries, elves and vampires, with a detective pursuing a serial killer.
Knowing Del Toro's work this one could be cool as hell. I guess we will just have to wait and see if it comes sooner or later.
