Deal! Pick Up the 'Ultimate Matrix Collection' On Blu-ray for Cheap

A nice set if you don't already own the films on Blu-ray

The Ultimate Matrix Collection [Blu-ray]Amazon is continuing to offer deals on geek-targeted titles, today that means a great deal on the Blu-ray edition of The Ultimate Matrix Collection for only $24.49 (buy it here).

The set includes The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, the documentary The Matrix Revisited and The Animatrix plus five discs worth of bonus materials.

Personally, I own this set and as a fan of The Matrix franchise it's an impressive collection in compact packaging that looks great on the shelf and doesn't take up much space. Of course, a lot of you may already own it or aren't fans of the sequels, which is a common complaint, so maybe it's not for you. However, at $24.49 it's worth the consideration if you were ever looking to upgrade.

Again, you can click here to pick it up for yourself.

SIDE NOTE: I reviewed the set back in 2008, so if you're interested in reading some five-year-old scribblings of mine click here. The article has links to my old reviews of the entire Matrix trilogy. Not sure on the quality of the writing, but it's out there so thought I'd share.

I don't get all the hate for The Matrix sequels. Sure, they aren't as good as the original, but they're still very enjoyable.

      I agree.

I own the first film on DVD already. I don't own the sequels but the second film was alright and the third film was actually good IMO. I think I might pass on this though due to the fact that I'm trying to save money to go to the theatre more often.

I lurve the first one, especially the kung fu sequences, I'll watch this film a few times a year. The second i can barely remember but i thought it was a let down, the third one i have also only seen once, it was fairly decent. Suffice to say i won't be buying the boxset.

I'm one of the few that thinks the second one is the best. I'd buy this, but I already own all three.
