Deal! Get the Original 'Star Trek' TV Series on Blu-ray for Cheap

A highly recommended set to those that are interested

star-trek-original-blurayAmazon's Gold Box Deal of the Day is a drastic discount on the Original "Star Trek" series complete Blu-ray collection, offered at 61% discount for only $69.99 (but it here) and I can't tell you how highly I recommend this set if this offer was interesting enough for you to click on the headline.

I own all three of these Blu-ray sets as a major fan of the Original "Star Trek" series and the remasters and updated visual effects make it one of the must owns in my opinion.

Each season is loaded with features, great commentaries, alternate versions of some episodes, episodes that only aired once, but most of all, what I believe, to be one of the greatest television series of all-time. Whether you watch it for its camp appeal, its stories, the characters or William Shatner's over-the-top performance this is a set worth buying and at this price it's a no-brainer.

I've always been a huge fan of the Original "Trek" and never quite grew to enjoy the latter series, though I did find "Enterprise" entertaining before they cancelled it. To me, however, you just can't beat the kind of entertainment this original series delivers. If you are interested click here and give it a peek.

If you want sci-fi with a hint of the majestic and mucho Britishness then give Blake's 7 a go, much better than that Doctor Who nonsense ;-)
