De Niro and Pacino Together Again
Somehow I am not as excited this time around
In 1995 Robert De Niro and Al Pacino lit up the screen under the direction of Michael Mann with the crime-thriller Heat and the two are getting back together again, this time for Jon Avnet who recently directed Pacino in the yet-to-be-released 88 Minutes.
The new picture is titled Righteous Kill, a $60 million indie production in which the two stars play cops chasing a serial killer. Inside Man scribe Russell Gewirtz penned the script.
Unfortunately this is all we know about the project other than filming is set to begin on August 6 in Connectictut and then move to New York for a short while.
