Davis Tapped for 'Synecdoche' and 'Genova'
Double duty for Hope
This story will be read by approximately 15 people is my guess so I am going to keep it simple to avoid wasting both my time and yours.
Variety is reporting that Hope Davis is set to join a pair of films, the first being the Charlie Kaufman directed Synecdoche, New York playing the therapist to a theater director (Philip Seymour Hoffman) in crisis over work and the women in his life.
The second film is titled Genova as she will being Colin Firth in Michael Winterbottom's follow-up to A Mighty Heart. The film is described as a coming-of-age story written by Laurence Coriat concerning a British man who moves with his two American daughters to Italy as he tries to recover from his wife's death.
