Warner Home Video has officially announced a December 9 release date for The Dark Knight on DVD, 2-Disc Special Edition DVD, Blu-ray and Collector's Batpod Packaging sets.
Below are the specs for the 2-Disc Blu-ray release and artwork for the 2-Disc Limited Edition and the Special 'Batpod' Edition. You can get larger looks at the 2-Disc Blu-ray art here and the Batpod version here.

Gotta say, I dont like the art at all…using poster art is just lazy. Especially when the Batpod was barely in the movie…lame.
Yeah,you'd think they'd be more creative , rather than using the same poster pics…it's the 2nd highest grossing movie of all freaking time afterall!!
I thought about posting something earlier saying I didnt really like the art work but decided not to. For some reason I just dont really like the batpod posters or artwork very much, and if they were gunna use a poster as there cover they could have chosen one of there better ones….just my opinion tho.
I noticed a few of you don't like the Batpod artwork and I pretty much agree, but that is actually the slip case and if look at this image of the 2-Disc DVD you will see the actual cover on the case is the Joker artwork. Not exactly original either, but just thought I would point it out.

i thought this movie was a great film i can't wait to buy it great job to the cast and director it was worth the wait.
