Deal! Get the 'Dark Knight Trilogy' on DVD and Blu-ray for Cheap

No better time than now to pick this set up

The Dark Knight Trilogy On Sale! The big deal of the week over at Amazon is Memento and Inception director Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy -- Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises -- on both DVD and Blu-ray at massively discounted prices.

The Blu-ray set is available for 58% off at $24.99 (buy it here) while the DVD set is available for 50% off at $19.49 (buy it here).

Yes, Warner Home Video has revealed details on the upcoming 6-disc The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector's Edition, but that thing is currently priced at $99.99 and doesn't really offer anything of overwhelming value outside of the fact it might look a little prettier on your shelf. Is that worth an additional $75? You tell me.

You can check out both the DVD and Blu-ray deal by clicking here.

In addition to that, fans of the Batman Animated Series can pick up all four volumes on sale at $17.99 each. Just click here.

Totally just snagged this blu-ray set. Haven't dug into the features yet but both Dark Knight and DKR have entire bonus discs of material so hoping it's got some goodies in there.

I already own all three films on DVD, so I think I'll pass on this.

I already own the trilogy on Blu-ray. I bought it I think the day it came out back in December and its an absolute beauty. I would recommend buying this to anyone who doesn't already own it (provided you like the trilogy of course)

i own the first two because they're really good, i don't own the third because i really dislike it, in fact i'm surprised people haven't turned on it more than they have now it's been out for a while. Anne Hathaway was really good though.

I'm not that big on Batman Begins but the other two are great movies. I already own both DVDs so I'm all set.

Personally i think that's the best one, it looks stunning. I enjoyed The Dark Knight too although i could have done without the scene with the two passenger ferries, i think it would of made for a better film overall

An addition $75 is not worth it if there so significant amount of extra footage or a how-it-was-made-booklet etc., I already own TDK and TDKR in Blu-ray. Probably just going to pick up Batman Begins Steelbook which I currently have on DVD.

The super special edition (or a version of it) is coming out in the UK. But you'd have to really love the films or be a professional collector of special editions to be worth spending the money on.

I'll stick with the individual Blu Ray versions I already have of the three.

The only intriguing thing on that upcoming Blu-ray release is the new disc with the conversation between Nolan and Richard Donner as well as another feature where directors like Michael Mann and Guillermo del Toro talk about the series. I believe there's also supposed to be some 'never before seen footage' sprinkled in there somewhere. But, I already own all three of these movies on Blu-ray and I don't think it's worth paying an absurd amount of money for one disc. This is a solid deal for those who don't have any of them, though.
