Damien, Meet Mommy and Daddy
Stiles and Schreiber sign on for Omen remake.
Variety is reporting that Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles are in negotiations to take over the roles of Damien's mommy and daddy in Fox's remake of 1976 horror classic The Omen. The roles were originally played by Gregory Peck and Lee Remick and the deals between these two clear the way for an October start to lensing on the thriller.
The remake is currently titled The Omen 666 and will be directed by Flight of the Phoenix helmer John Moore and the film tells the story of an American couple living in England, whose young son Damien bears "the mark of the beast."
