Cusack Signs 'Contract'
John Cusack readies for thriller.
Variety reports that John Cusack is ready to star opposite Morgan Freeman in the thriller The Contract for helmer Bruce Beresford.
The film is budgeted at $37 million and is scheduled for a spring production.
The story is of a family outing that turns deadly when a grandfather, son and grandson stumble across the path of a hired killer.
Beresford and Freeman also teamed up back in 1989 in the Oscar-winner Driving Miss Daisy.
