Cube Going Back to School
Ice Cube ready for another family comedy.
Ice Cube is slowly shedding his tough guy persona as films such as Barbershop, Are We There Yet? and now Teacher of the Year aim to soften up the hardcore rapper.
New Line is setting up Cube to star in Teacher of the Year, a comedy pitch from scribe Jeff Bushell, telling the tale of two junior high school instructors in a brutal competition to take teacher of the year honors.
Cube is not yet officially attached to the feature as he is waiting for a finished script, but once a finalized story arrives he is expected to sign the deal as long as everyone involved wants to move forward.
