Criterion is Giving You Three Reasons to Buy Upcoming Blu-rays
As if you need more than one
Criterion has upped their profile by leaps and bounds over the last couple of years, the Internet seems to have done wonders for them and with Blu-ray they seemed to even control an even larger portion of the conversation. Sure, they've always been known to cinephiles, but I can't remember a time when so many people looked forward to the 15th of each month just to hear what films Criterion would be releasing next. For some it seems it may be even more important than that bi-monthly pay day.
To help with audience anticipation Criterion has now started a new trailer series titled "Three Reasons" and they've started with their upcoming late-February and March releases of Sweet Smell of Success (February 22), The Times of Harvey Milk (March 22) and Mike Leigh's excellent Topsy-Turvy (March 29).
I've included each trailer below and you can click on each title above for more information on each. Each month I add all upcoming Criterion releases to the database and you can track their release dates on the RopeofSilicon DVD/Blu-ray calender right here.

Brad, i think everyone has seen what 2010 had to offer. When would a possible time be when the voting begins?
i'm not trying to be annoying, but i really enjoyed it last year.
If you had waited another 48 hours to ask, you wouldn't have had to… if you get my drift.
ahh..
