Jeff Wells at Hollywood-Elsewhere has posted a brief commentary on An Education saying "people in charge of steering Sony Classics… are concerned about the film peaking too early." He also says "a smattering of journalists who've seen it are going 'okay, not bad but meh.'" The film hits theaters on October 9, but will hype have damaged it's Oscar chances by then?
