That was honestly the most astonishing snub this year, the fact that only THREE songs were chosen and that the shitty peter gabriel song was nominated over The Wrestler. Who the fuck are these people. AND BRAD PITT OVER LEO!?!?!?!?!?!!?!? Don't people recognize talent when they see it?

I like David Fincher's work but this is not even close to his best. I hope Slumdog bites Ben Button's wrinkled ass off otherwise it would be Crash/Brokeback all over again. And Frost/Nixon AND The Reader over TDK for BP? Snobbish Academy! Why couldn't stupid Brangelina get snubbed instead? And I'm REALLY shocked that Gran Torino got nothing. Oh well, atleast there are lots of bright spots about these noms. Downey Jr.'s nom, Dustin Lance Black's nom, Amy Adams, Viola Davis AND Taraji Henson all getting noms(I was a 100% sure that atleast one of them wouldn't), the song 'Jaya Ho' getting a nom(even though I feel bad for The Boss, 3 should have always been the total no. of noms for this category), TDK's 8 nominations, Iron Man's 2, Wall-E's SIX(!), Kate getting only one nom, that too for The Reader, THAT TOO as Best Leading Actress. All in all, pretty surprising. This still has the potential to be awesome i.e. if TDK sweeps almost all of the technical categories(and Heath's award of course) and SM sweeps almost all of the top categories. Or Button might make a 13-award cleansweep beating out Ben-Hur, Titanic and LOTR's joint record and causing all my friends to horrifically die of simultaneous heart-attacks.
