'Cloverfield' and 'There Will Be Blood' Head to Blu-ray
And that does it for HD DVD for good
Even though they weren't releasing any titles on HD DVD, technically the format war wasn't over as Paramount was the last major studio to commit to the Blu-ray format and their first six titles to be released have been announced. They include Face/Off, Next and Bee Movie on May 20. Cloverfield and There Will Be Blood on June 3. And The Spiderwick Chronicles will have a day and date debut with its DVD counterpart on June 24.
There was no mention in the Variety article as far as features and Paramount has not yet made an official announcement with specs of any sort.
