Clive is a Man Among 'Children'
Cuaron and Owen team on sci-fi flick.
Clive Owen has got to be considered one of the hottest commodities in the acting world as of late. His stock has risen 100 times over since his Golden Globe win and he is now set to star in the Alfonso Cuarón flick Children of Men.
The sci-fi picture is is set in a dystopic society, radically transformed by humans' inability to reproduce and sent into chaos by the news of the death of the earth's youngest person, age 18.
When the first woman becomes pregnant in more than 20 years, and thus becomes the most sought-after person in the world, Owen's character is enlisted to protect her.
The film will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
