Clive Cast as Bond?
"I'll be busy for a while," he says.
IESB.net is offering up quite a scoop if this turns out to be true as they happened to get a quick word with Clive Owen in regards to the possibility of taking over the James Bond role in the upcoming Martin Campbell directed Casino Royale

"Yes or no to Bond," we asked. He said this while nodding his head 'yes', "I will be busy for a while" and then our colleauge next to us asked again, "any truth to the James Bond rumors?" "I'll be busy for a while," he repeated with a grin and smile.
Not exactly a confirmation, but then again not a denial.
When I interviewed Clive for Sin City the Bond role did come up and when asked if he would like to take on the role of Bond he smiled and said, "Next question."
If Owen has been cast I am sure word will spread soon.
Owen and Campbell have worked together before on the lackluster Beyond Borders flick, which also starred Angelina Jolie, so Campbell may have an interest in the thesp, and considering Campbell was the one that pulled Bond out of the gutter with GoldenEye, Pierce Brosnan's first Bond flick, MGM and the Brocolli's may be listening to his input.
