Clint Eastwood to Star in and Direct 'Gran Torino'
Clint is back on the bigscreen for the first time in 4 years
It's hard to believe the last time we saw Clint Eastwood on the big screen was back in 2004 with Million Dollar Baby, a film I loved, but it seems several folks grew a bit of disdane for. However, opinions aside, I think the prospect of two Eastwood films in one year is a good omen as he is already directing Angelina Jolie in Changeling due out November 7 and will now direct and star in Gran Torino, which is expected to hit theaters in December.
Unfortunately the plotline is being kept quiet as the film simply popped up out of nowhere. In all likelihood, once more casting is announced details will begin to surface. However, I may be wrong, as even Variety is unsure as to whether the movie will begin shooting some time soon, or if it is already in production.
