Chris Noth Joins 'Sex and the City' Movie
No shock here, he wasn't doing anything else
You guys all know Chris Noth right? You have seen his work in such smash hit films as The Perfect Man, Mr. 3000 and the 1982 flick Smithereens in which he played the character Prostitute. Okay, wipe the blank stares off your face, this is the guy that played "Mr. Big" in the hit HBO television series "Sex and the City" and he is set to reprise his role in the aptly named film based on the TV show Sex and the City. SHOCKER!
Since Chris wasn't really doing anything else this was a pretty easy decision I am sure as he will be joining Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon who are all on board to reprise their roles and the show’s longtime executive producer, Michael Patrick King, is set to write and direct.
King was quoted saying, "There is no need for funeral arrangements… I assure you that Mr. Big is a very ‘big’ part of the Sex and The City movie. While I have not spoken to him myself, Chris Noth assures me that Mr. Big is alive and well and ready to report to the set in September."
Story details are being kept under wraps with a 2008 release in the plans.
