Check Out the 'Ong Bak 3' Trailer Now with English Subtitles
It's always better when you know what they're saying... isn't it?
Last Friday I posted the new bone-crushing international trailer for Ong Bak 3 and today I have the same trailer, but this time with a bit more info… English language subtitles.
I won't waste time going into any further specifics, but I am obviously excited for this flick as Tony Jaa is one hell of an entertaining action star and his films are different to say the least. If you've yet to introduce yourself to the man be sure to check out the original Ong Bak, skip The Protector and then give Ong Bak 2 a shot.
At first glance, it would appear Ong Bak 2 has nothing to do with the original. However, one thing I am curious about is Jaa played a character named Ting in the first film and Tien in the second, and in the trailer there is a glimpse of a statue that looks incredibly similar to the sacred Buddha statuette called Ong Bak from the first film… Is it possible Ong Bak 2 and 3 are unpublicized prequels to the first film and at the end of 3, Tien will retire to a small village and change his name to Ting? Perhaps the Ong Bak statue holds Tien's soul, which is the main reason it's so coveted. I don't know, just spit-balling…
Now, here's that trailer. Ong Bak 3 hits Thai theaters on May 5, and there are no details as to when it may arrive in the States.

Can't just wait to watch this movie.. 1st one was great; 2nd release was simply amazing with a decent climax, and needless to say – Third one would be AWESOME! That's how movies are made.. Rock on!
the order is ong bak 2, then ong bak 3, then ong bak. dont just spit ball, why dont u research and have real info to present.
and why skip protector??? the capoeira fight scene and the bone breaking scene at the end are EPIC.
So basically you are reiterating exactly what I said in the article. Oh, and skip Protector because it is awful, which is a basis of judgment I use to advise others. Thanks for the comment.
anyone who has seen the fight scenes in protector says they are amazing. the film is crap but who cares.
the bone breaking scene at the end is better than anything in ong bak 1 or 2
and how can he retire to a village or have his soul in the ong bak statue when it clearly states in ong bak that he was an orphan baby left at the steps of the temple. you fuking pleb
Ong Bak 2 and 3 aren't prequels to the original Ong Bak movie, look at the movie detail, Ong Bak 2 is set in the 16th century
