Charlize is Breaking the ICE with Peirce
The woman now known as "Oscar winner" Charlize Theron has just signed on to star in a feature film adaptation of Mark Richard's novel "The Ice at the Bottom of the World" for director Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don't Cry).
Hoping to shoot in fall 2005 the pic is described as a running theme of love and loss and birth and death and is primarily set in the American South, centering on a cross-section of redneck characters.
