Zahra began acting and singing in school productions when she lived in West Africa. She currently lives in Zagreb, Croatia where she was cast in her first professional role as Paloma in "Dream Warrior". She has provided her voice to commercially produced English-language instructional tapes for Croatian schools. She attends a private international school and continues to act in school plays. Born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1989 while her family was living in Barcelona, Spain, she has also lived in Aruba. She hopes to pursue a career in acting.
