Veena Sodd was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and is of East Indian descent. She immigrated to Canada as a child, and knew from an early age that she wanted to be an actress. After obtaining her degree in Art, Music, & Drama at the University of Calgary, Veena went on to co-found the Loose Moose Theatre Company, world renowned for their invention of the comedy improv games, Theatresports. Veena has worked across Canada on stage, and in film & television. She's been a regular in several TV series, and is a 3-time nominee and winner, as Best Actress, of Vancouver's Jessie Richardson Awards.
