Scott Mechlowicz graduated with honors from the UCLA Conservatory Acting Program before landing his role in "Eurotrip." The part of Scotty marks his first leading role in a feature film.

Immediately following production on "Eurotrip" in Prague, Mechlowicz flew to Portland, Oregon, to begin production on the independent film "Mean Creek," in which he co-stars with Rory Culkin.

Born in New York and raised in Texas, Mechlowicz moved to Los Angeles to study at UCLA in 2001.
