Robin Tunney's performance, opposite Henry Thomas, in Bob Gosse's Niagara, Niagara garnered her the Best Actress award at the 1997 Venice International Film Festival as well as an Independent Spirit Award nomination.

The Chicago native moved to Los Angeles at age eighteen to pursue an acting career. Her films include Mia Goldman's Open Window; Finn Taylor's Cherish; Allan Moyle's Empire Records; Andrew Fleming's The Craft and The In-Laws (2003); Peter Hyams' End of Days; Martin Campbell's Vertical Limit; and Alan Rudolph's Investigating Sex and The Secret Lives of Dentists.

Ms. Tunney currently stars on the hit televison series Prison Break.
