Rebecca Cook wrote and directed the 35mm feature film, The Chester Story, and is currently in production with Velveteen Films on her third feature, entitled, Shooting Levien.

Rebecca wrote and directed her first digi-beta feature film, The Gypsy Years, in 2000, which was screened at AngelCiti International Film & Music Market in LA, FirstGlance Film & Video Festival also in L.A., the Melbourne International Film Festival in Florida, and the Jamerican International Film and Music Festival in Jamaica. In addition, Rebecca wrote, directed and produced her short film Nipply Ray in the summer of 1998, which was seen at the Kaos Festival in Los Angeles and on the "Loves Like A Dog" program for Channel 4 in London, and won an audience award at the Coven of the Arts Film Series in New York City. Rebecca graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor's degree in English, a concentration in Creative Writing and a secondary concentration in French. After graduating from Bates, she was selected for an internship with Touchstone Pictures at Disney, and went from there to work at ZM Productions as an assistant and script-reader. Rebecca also did work as a freelance script reader, P.A. and Associate Producer in Los Angeles, Boston and New York.
