BIO:
Since graduating from NIDA in 1973, his career of 30 years has encompassed all aspects of theatre, film and television, making him one of Australia’s best-known personalities.
John’s film credits include Picnic At Hanging Rock (Peter Weir) We of the Never Never (Igor Auzins), The Odd Angry Shot (Tom Jeffrey), Dead Heart (Nicolas Parsons) and All Men Are Liars (Gerard Lee) for which he received nominations from the AFI for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role and from the Australian Film Critic’s Circle, for Best Actor. John has also appeared in many television series, most recently McLeod's Daughters, and has written and presented for Better Homes and Gardens.
