Much in demand as a character actor, John Bourgeois' most recent credits include the upcoming feature films “A Different Loyalty,” starring Sharon Stone and Rupert Everett, and “Jericho Mansions,” with James Caan and Jennifer Tilley; the hit television series “Monk,” with Tony Shaloub; the Peabody award-winning TV movie “The Interrogation Of Michael Crowe;” and the cable feature “Rudy’s Wars,” starring James Woods.

Bourgeois’ training for the stage began at Concordia University in his native Montreal, and continued on a scholarship at London’s Webber Douglas Academy. When he returned to Canada, Bourgeois joined the prestigious Stratford Festival for several seasons. He has appeared in over 50 stage productions ranging from the contemporary and classical repertoire in regional theatres across Canada and the United States. A bilingual performer, he starred in the French CBC series “L’Or,” and is currently taping the series “Francoeur.” As well, he is in production on ESPN’s flagship drama “Playmakers” and the new Lifetime series “1-800-Missing.”
