Enrique Iglesias is the world-renowned musical performer who made his feature film debut with Once Upon a Time in Mexico.

Since the 1996 debut of his first album, the self-titled “Enrique Iglesias,” which sold more than 6 million copies, earned a Grammy and made him an international superstar, Iglesias has sold more than 35 million albums and sold out hundreds of concerts. His second album, “Vivir” (1997), earned him Billboard’s Artist of the Year and Album of the Year awards, and led to sold out concerts in 16 countries. It was followed by 1998’s “Cosas Del Amor,” which won him the prestigious ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Award. A year later, actor/singer Will Smith asked Iglesias to contribute the song “Bailamos” to the soundtrack of Wild Wild West, and it became a #1 hit.

His fourth album, “Enrique”(1999), launched Iglesias’ English language career, spawning two #1 singles, double platinum sales in the U.S. and platinum and gold sales in 32 countries around the world. The ballad “Hero,” the first single from “Escape” (2001) became a post-September 11th comfort in the U.S. Subsequent singles, “Escape” and “Don’t Turn off the Lights,” were also widely played radio hits. “Escape,” which has sold 9 million copies, made history by becoming the first Latin artist’s recording to reach #1 on the United Kingdom sales chart, and was the U.K.’s top selling album of the year.

Last year he released “Quizas,” his first album of Spanish language material in five years selling more than a million copies the week of release and having the highest debut ever for an album in Spanish on Billboard’s chart. “Quizas” also gave him three #1 hits making him the artist with the most number one hit singles in the history of Latin music. Iglesias has a new English-language album due this fall.
