Best known for his role as Al Bundy on the hit series Married…with Children, Ed O'Neill has an impressive array of dramatic stage, television and feature film credits. The show that aired on Fox for more than a decade and gave O'Neill two Golden Globe nominations for Best Performance by and Actor in a television series.

Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, O'Neill moved to New York City in the early 80s to pursue his love of acting. He quickly landed his first role as an understudy in the Broadway production of Knockout. O'Neill continued to act on stage in many classic productions including David Mamet's Lakeboat, The Front Page, Of Mice and Men, Gentle People and A Streetcar Named Desire.

On television, O'Neill was most recently seen in an update of the classic police drama Dragnet, starring as Sgt. Joe Friday. Additional television credits include Big Apple with Michael Madsen and the NBC mini-series The 10th Kingdom co-starring with Ann-Margaret, Dianne Wiest and Camryn Manheim. He also starred in the action thriller Popeye Doyle.

O'Neill also has an extensive list of feature film credits working with a vast array of Hollywood Talent. Recently, he worked with Gary Oldman and Mary Steenburgen in Nobody's Baby and co-starred with John Travolta and Lisa Kudrow in Nora Ephron's Lucky Numbers. Additional film roles include The Bone Collector starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie and The Spanish Prisoner with Steve Martin. In 1991, he co-starred with his Dragnet partner Ethan Embry in the comedy Dutch. O'Neill has also appeared in both Wayne's World films with Mike Myers and Dana Carvey.

O'Neill, who has studied Jujitsu for more than 10 years with the well known Gracie family, currently lives in Los Angeles.
