Boaz Yakin most recently directed Denzel Washington in Remember The Titans, which grossed $115 million domestically. He made his directorial debut in 1994 with the critically acclaimed Fresh starring Samuel L. Jackson. Produced by Lawrence Bender and Randy Ostrow, Fresh won the Filmmakers Trophy at the Sundance Film Festival. His second film, A Price Above Rubies, starring Renee Zellweger and Julianna Margulies, was also produced by Lawrence Bender along with John Penotti.
