The Casting Couch: April 28, 2006
Quick, concise and to the point.
This edition of THE CASTING COUCH is going to be short, sweet and to the point, basically just quotes this time. No commentary as I am really busy at the ROS labs. So for those of you that hate my commentary, you're welcome. For those that enjoy it, I am sorry.
Nevertheless, here is the COUCH.
Project has been set up at MTV Films with XXX scribe Rich Wilkes adapting the book for the screen.
The book was penned by Motley Crue themselves — bandmates Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil with writer Neil Strauss — and tells the story of the band's rise, complete with all the ups and downs in friendships, on tour and in the studio. Sixx, Lee, Mars, Neil and Strauss will receive exec producer credits.

Adrien Brody and Lindsay Lohan have signed on for the indie romantic comedy Speechless for Saved! director Brian Dannelly and Sobini Films.
Pic is based on a story by L. Sprague De Camp from 1952 and is described as a modern Cyrano de Bergerac story about an introverted man (Brody) who is invited to give a speech at his childhood friend's wedding and turns to a service that allows someone — played by Lohan — to speak through him.
Shooting is expected to begin later this year.

The book centers on a 15-year-old girl who attends an elite spy-training academy in Washington and must deal with the mystery surrounding the death of her CIA agent father, her "Alias"-style spy education and a cute, off-limits civilian boy who doesn't know her true identity.
