Anyone else think Anna Faris is getting better and better looking? That is, when she isn't in a Scary Movie feature. Well, no matter what you think she is set to join the cast of Mama's Boy for Warner Independent Pictures and director Tim Hamilton.
The film already stars Jon Heder as the title character, a slacker in his 30s who still lives with his mom (Diane Keaton). When the mom falls for a motivational speaker (Jeff Daniels), the slacker's way of life is threatened. Faris plays Heder's love interest, a singer-songwriter.
The film is scheduled to begin shooting in Los Angeles in mid-June from a Hank Nelken script.

Michael Pena's career seems to be on the rise since his turn in Crash as he will not only be starring in Oliver Stone's World Trade Center this year, but he has also been signed to star opposite Mark Wahlberg in Antoine Fuqua's political thriller Shooter for Paramount Pictures.
The film centers on an ace marksman (Wahlberg) who is double-crossed and framed for a presidential assassination he was trying to prevent. He is forced to go on the run while trying to track down the real killer and find out who betrayed him. Pena will play the nemesis of Wahlberg's character.
Filming is scheduled to begin June 19 in Vancouver.

The pic will feature Walsh as Ray Tuckby, a man who clings to hopes of reuniting with an unrequited love from his childhood by staying in his rundown hometown. Long will play the small city's young drug lord and real estate mogul. When a stranger (DeVito) arrives with hopes of revitalizing the town, Tuckby and others team up to fight the local hooligans and help him in his mission.

"Valet" is based on Veber's "La Doublure," which has grossed more than $17 million since its release in France three weeks ago. Pic follows a hapless valet who is captured in a photo of a fight between a Donald Trump-type mogulmogul and his mistress, leading to all sorts of comedic entanglements.
