Caruso Lives for LaBeouf
Director and star ready for another thriller
Man, people better be right about Shia LaBeouf becoming the next "big thing" because his ass is everywhere lately. After the surprise shit Disturbia and the animated feature Surf's Up Shia will be seen in July's Transformers followed by a co-starring role in Indiana Jones IV. Now, he is set to team back up with his Disturbia director D.J. Caruso for another thriller at DreamWorks called Eagle Eye.
Eagle Eye is based on an idea from Steven Spielberg revolving around a twentysomething slacker and a single mother who are framed as terrorists and forced to become members of a cell with plans to carry out a political assassination. Hilary Seitz penned the latest script.
I am waiting for the announcement that Shia will be playing a young Captain Kirk in Star Trek XI because at this point nothing would surprise me when it comes to this kid.
