Cannon Gains 'Extra Protection'
Actor starring in film off own script.
Nick Cannon may be young and has only really starred in films for the teenage audiences, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have talent. The young man from San Diego, California has just signed a deal with Overbrook Entertainment to star in the film Extra Protection based off the script that he wrote.
Overbrook partners James Lassiter and Will Smith are in negotiations to produce for Universal Pictures and Cannon will executive produce.
The story follows male and female FBI trainees who are assigned to deliver a witness to a crucial hearing.
