Cannes 2010: Teaser Trailer and Poster for Juliette Binoche's 'Certified Copy'
Hopefully a love story well worth the watch
An international teaser trailer and poster for Iranian-helmer Abbas Kiarostami's Cannes competition entry Copie Conforme (Certified Copy) starring Juliette Binoche and William Shimell has just arrived.
The film is set in a small Italian village in southern Tuscany where a middle-aged English writer (Shimell) is promoting his latest book and while there he hits it off with a French art dealer (Binoche), and the two jet off to San Gimignano together.
Kiarostami is an unknown director to me personally, but his work has been well recognized. At Cannes he has been nominated for the Golden Palm three times and in 1997 he won for Ta'm e guilass (Taste of Cherry).
Both the teaser trailer and the poster are featured directly below.
