Can Cuba Gooding Jr. Be Reformed?
Another non-shit role for the actor
I can't tell you how nice it was to see Cuba Gooding Jr. in American Gangster. Sure, his role is a small one, but he gets a chance to act and not "act a fool", and it looks like he is going to get another shot as he has signed on to star in the action thriller The Way of War for director John Carter.
The film will feature Gooding playing a paramilitary operative who goes on a rampage after discovering a war conspiracy. Yeah, it's a vanilla role, but at least it isn't Daddy Day Camp 2.
The film begins shooting this week in Baton Rouge, La.
