Only four days ago we learned the Martin Campbell would be directing Unstoppable for 20th Century Fox and today we learn that he is also attached to direct 36, a remake of a 2004 French-language thriller, for Paramount Pictures.

The story revolves around two detectives who try to solve a series of armored car robberies in the hopes of landing a promotion promised to whoever catches the perpetrators.

Dean Georgaris penned the first draft of the script and Robert De Niro had been attached to star, but since then Richard Price has come on to overhaul the story and the lead detectives in the story have been reimagined and will now be in their 30s.
